WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING LATELY?
Been extremely busy with my full time employment and my own bookkeeping/tax preparation business. When the chance arises, I love to travel to beautiful beachers. Oh, did I mention that I also book travel on the side? So, I'm busy, but very happy with my life

I am currently attending the University of Akron working on an Associate's degree in Business Management with an Accounting option. I just started in the fall of 2003 so I have a ways to go with taking only two courses per semester. Made the Dean's list the first semester and shooting for two As this semester. Might even get my degree before I reach retirement!I am busy making plans to attend Mike's honor's banquet and his graduation from Toledo University this May where he will go on to grad school. Samm and I are working on preparing for her 9/9/06 wedding and her graduation from Kent State in 2006 with her masters degree. It may sound like it is far away but I know it will be here tomorrow!! Tom is doing his share to keep me going too. We will be attending the President's award ceremonies for the Air Force ROTC at the University of Akron. And I thought I was done with school in 1974!!!
The one thing I enjoyed more than anything else was the time I spent in band. I had never looked at music or picked up an instrument until the summer before my junior year. Mr. Morgan gave me five lessons and in my junior year I became a part of marching band, concert band, stage band, and dance band. I worked harder at that than at anything else and I loved every minute of it. I learned our version of the fight song, you know the one that starts out "Beer, Beer, for old Roosevelt High" and did I ever hear about teaching to my kids that version when they were in the Roosevelt band!! How times have changed.
Can't think of any other than sharing my version of the fight song with my children.
ARE THERE ANY HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US?
I remember being dared to dance with Mr. Moss at a school dance and I took the dare and landed in the year book dancing with him. Then there was the burning of the Raven. We all met in a parking lot to form a caravan and Brian drove. The last thing his parents said was "don't overload the car". Well, we ended up with nine of us in the car and some of the girls had the windows rolled down and were sitting on the door. We were almost to the high school when the car behind us hit the gas instead of his brakes and litterally shortened the car we were in by a little over an inch. The police were called and almost everyone had gone on to the burning of the Raven so of course we had to supply all of the names. Glad I wasn't there to see Brian's parents faces when they saw the police report!

After a 19 year run in a oilfield related machine shop, I lost my job, due to corporate consolidation with Haliburton. This was the spring of 1999. I have been on an extended vacation, since. I now have the time to take care of all those "irons in the fire". I have become the support team for my working wife, Lynn. My picture can attest to my being able to cook, mostly! We own 14 parrots of the Asian varriety, and have actually bred with some success. I have handfed birds from 10 days old, to weaning. Many may remember my uncle Earl, that sold parrakeets, out on Ravenna Road. I think the love of birds must be a family thing.
I think the teacher that most influenced me in school, will only be known to a small handfull of guys. Art Jones, from the Hudson High School Auto Shop vo-tech class. I was never able to fully realize "book smarts", but "hands on" was easier for me to learn. I believe I have had more use of Auto Shop training, then any other class I ever sat in, at Roosevelt. I'm not exactly bragging on Art Jones, but the shop class taught me the most valuable lessons I have used throughout my life. I have been able to help others, because of my training too.
Of all the memories bouncing around my mind, the one I would "share" would be of the "Flying Disc", that Mr.Barnett made. He was able to finally test it outside the metal shop, and it couldn't lift him. He had a student do the test flight, and proved it wasn't going to replace walking, as transportation. BIG crowd watching the short flight. Most other memories were off campus, and here again, I plead the fifth ammendment!

My husband is a product tester and writer for Recumbent and Tandem Rider magazine on the side. Our garage looks like a bicycle shop. For his real job, he is a systems technician for Nextira One Communications. We enjoy being parents of very active teenagers and our date nights. Our oldest son, Jared almost 18,is a fantastic singer. He and I had the privilege of travelling to Europe last summer while he was on a performance tour with the Welsh Choir of Southern California. We spent 2 weeks in Wales and 3 days in London with the choir. He even did solo work with them. Then he and I went to visit a friend in Munich for 6 days and he sang at a baptism by a lake at the base of the Alps. We then flew to Scotland for 5 days and celebrated his 17th birthday there. He sang in 3 concerts in the fall and 5 concerts in the spring not to mention many times during the holidays. We were in Texas with an AWANA Varsity competition where he took a silver medal in the Fine Arts catagory. He is finishing up Boy Scouts with his Eagle in sight. (We finished his project this weekend and he needs to complete the paperwork.) He will be lifeguarding in Hawaii for 2 weeks this summer with our scout troop. He will be learing to surf with church friends this summer. Our youngest son, Seth 15 1/2, is our academic child. He's the one who helps us all out when something goes awry with the computer. He loves grahic design on the computer, horseback riding, reading, acting, and will be learning to surf this summer with friends from church. He will be beginning his Boy Scout eagle project soon. At the AWANA Varsity competition in Texas, Seth took a silver medal with his team in Bible Quizzing. He also won the silver medal in the National Latin Exam. We enjoy going out to lunch every Friday and playing games together. I can't imagine life being any different. We are very much involved with our children and their friends from church. Our lives seem to revolve around AWANA activities, church youth activities, homeschool activities, and Scouting.
I really liked working on the yearbook with Miss B. I could not think of a better time than that of making the whole project come together. It was great working with the other students as well.
I am glad that it's all over. The best things happened after graduation. I became a Christian, got married, had children, and will be finished homeschooling them. I helped my oldest start a successful lawn business and swim academy. I am getting my younger son started in a web design business.

My partner Denny and I have recently sold our house in Canton (OH) and bought a grand old century home in Hartville (OH). I'm busy at work (aren't we all!) on my day job at the Area Agency on Aging, which is an arm of the Ohio Department of Aging, and in the evenings I'm a professor in the School of Family and Consumer Studies at Kent State, which I also really enjoy. I've been at the AAoA for 11 years and teaching at KSU for 8 years, and my partner Denny is a stylist at a fancy foo-foo hair salon and spa in Canton, where he has been for 19 years. Does that make us a little TOO stable? We have been together for 17 years and have no children, as the paternal instinct never struck either of us, but we dote dearly on our three dogs! We enjoy camping in our motorhome (is that really "camping?") with the dogs, classic car shows (we have a snazzy '62 Caddy Convertible Coupe - triple white - that's won a few trophies), flea markets and thrift stores, and now we're redoing our new old house in the Arts & Crafts style popular at the time it was built. I also have a couple of motorcycles that I enjoy, especially for bar-hopping with friends on warm summer evenings!
I think it was the principal rather than a teacher that had a very favorable influence on me personally. Mr. Kneale always impressed me with his positive attitude, and especially his sense of fairness. He also was an example of sticking to the pursuit of your goals as he pursued his own education. Finally, he seemed to have an inherent understanding of and ability to key into the insecurity of the lost adolescents wandering around the school, and had the right thing to say to keep one on track or allay some of their personal insecurity.
As I've said before, I especially enjoyed working on the prom as a junior, the excitement of which I think a lot of kids miss out on these days - the creativity, the anxiety, the politics, the silliness. The marching band also was very rewarding in that it gave a strong sense of being a part of something that was bigger than the sum of it's parts. The camaraderie and teamwork were very rewarding, and helped me learn to get along with people I might not necessarily like but have to work with anyway. And it was just fun! And then there were the parties after the Friday night football games, where people used to sweat bullets wondering if they looked OK? Do I miss all that anxiety? Hmmmm..... But maybe that was part of the excitement of it all!

In the last five years...hmmmm..had a hysterectomy (thank god for prozac and hormone patches)dealt with depression in the family, moved (after the roof fell in on our living room with the bad snow we had in 1999) again, got a beautiful apricot color poodle named Pig (Jason wanted a potbelly pig, I got him a poodle, great dog for folks with allergies, and named it Pig) became an adult caregiver for my mom (who was diagnosed with lupus), which means I help maintain the house, yard, doctor appts and pay bills. I have had close friends battle cancer and was a co-captain for an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team. Life is not as bad as it may sound though. Most of us will be handling many of the same things I am, as our parents and ourselves age...I also started working on my master's degree. Initially it was for job advancement but then I decided it was because I wanted to do it. It is a Master in Liberal Studies and I get to write my own program of study. My focus is on the Port Chicago explosion in WWII, ever hear about it? If you have a kid going to college and have financial aid questions, give me a holler and I can help you out. If they are going to Kent State, I can be real specific.
Who else but my chemistry teacher, Mr. Ludick. When I found out I had to go to Roosevelt (Kent State closed), I thought, my dad is there, that will be a bummer. Then I got to have him for class and was grateful to see another side of him. I felt sorry for him as he had a lot of band kids in our class and I know that my lab partner, Renee Beck and I gave him more then a few gray hairs. It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years since he died. They named the manhood and womanhood awards after him with the money that was donated after he died. My sister and mom go every year to the awards ceremony. I have not been able to do that yet.
All I can think of is the library moments with Jackie Hollinger. There would be a bunch of us sitting in the library and one would start giggling, which would start another and next thing you know, we are getting the finger tap...we could never make it through a period without either the look or the finger tapping. I want to also say thanks for the friends I made... it was not easy transferring schools in your junior year. If it wasn't for band and kids from church, I would have never made it.

Well, the list is long but here is the semi-short version; I have been married and divorced twice, no children by choice, worked many jobs that didn't make me happy, finally decided to go to college as if high school wasn't a bad enough experience, graduated with honors with a degree in Business Administration. Got bored and sick of Ohio so I packed everything and drove as far west as I could go and landed in San Diego, CA where I got a great job as a contract administrator with a development company. The pay was great and I travelled all over the United States contracting construction jobs. I then decided I wanted to learn to either scuba dive or sky dive and since I had a great fear of being splattered all over the pavement I decided scuba diving was more my speed. But after 7 years of the fast-paced rat race and 80 hr. work weeks I needed more excitement and challenge in my life so decided I wanted to be a firefighter/Paramedic and I moved back to Ohio to pursue yet another career. I then went to fire school then paramedic school and worked part-time as a fire/medic for a fire department. I now have a fantastic job as a paramedic in the ER and Cardiac Care Unit of a hospital in Cleveland. I love my job, there is nothing more rewarding than going home at the end of the day knowing you made a difference in someone's life and feeling good about what I do for a living. Of course I now make less than half of what I used to, but that was the trade off of finally finding something I love to do. I am making my last and final move at the end of the year to Florida where I have enrolled in a flight medic course to certify me as a flight medic for MedFlight in southern Florida. I'm hoping to land somewhere between Ft. Lauderdale and the Keys. So, it has taken me a while but I finally found my niche in life at the ripe old age of 40 something.
High school was probably the worst experience of my life, well maybe the second or third worse experience. I don't have very many fond memories other than being in band. I developed alot of close friendships there, Pam, Tim, Sherri & Yvonne, you know who you are!!! And even though most of you thought band was for geeks, we were a tight knit bunch of geeks and we had fun. Marching band I would say was the best time. It was alot of work but it was fun. The Friday night football games and the get togethers afterwards were worth all the grueling practices during and after school. Hey guys, remember the Friday night toilet papering of Mr. Morgan's house?

I have now been on international assignment with Xerox Corporation for eight years- -first in Hong Kong, and currently in Beijing, China. It has been a genuinely amazing experience and opportunity for my family and I. Our sons George and Alexander attend the International School of Beijing (ISB). Alexander played on the 6th grade basketball team this year, and George is once again representing ISB at "Youth Leaders International", a three year program for students from all over the world that convened in Washington D.C. last year, will meet for a week this summer in Paris, and concludes next year with a program at Cambridge University in England. Both boys get good grades, and have been studying Chinese since we moved overseas. We have continued to travel extensively as a family. I have long viewed our time abroad as an education in and of itself for the boys, and as such have not missed an opportunity to explore different cultures and historic points of interest. Perhaps my proudest accomplishment in this regard was arranging trips to the most prominent archaeological sites in Egypt, Greece, and Italy the same year that the boys were studying these ancient civilizations at school. George and Alexander have further journeyed with us to Mt. Everest base camp; been out in a rowboat at dawn on the Ganges in Varanasi, watching people bathe in the river while bodies were being cremated on the banks; rode camels, and searched for trilobite fossils in the Sahara; marveled at snake charmers in Marrakech; visited the "killing fields" near Phnom Penh, and climbed around the ancient temples at Angor Wat; spent a week traveling down the Mekong in Laos; explored the Topkapi Museum in Istanbul having previously seen the movie of the same name; been to an opera at the Bolshoi; journeyed north of the Arctic Circle to Murmansk; floated above the Australian outback in a hot air balloon; visited the DMZ in Panmunjom; and rode elephants to observe black rhinos in the wild, in southern Nepal. It is my great hope that George and Alexander will ultimately benefit from a broader "global perspective" as a result of what they have seen and experienced, and that this will serve them well in the context of their future education, careers, and ability to make a meaningful contibution in life. I continue to enjoy my work. Learning to do business in China has been incredibly interesting. Our business here is very entrepreneurial and dynamic, and the enormous challenges we face on a daily basis are more than equaled by the opportunity to develop the market. I have worked very hard to earn the privilege of extending my original two year overseas assignment to what will be a minimum of nine years abroad. My wife Lori and I have been married for twenty three years. She is the binding force in our family, and anything of true substance that I have ever accomplished would simply not have been possible without her steadfast and unwavering support. Lori spent a year at a culinary arts academy in Paris in the mid-'80's, and her home cooking (everything from scratch!) is truly something to behold. A real "student of history", she brings our travels alive with her knowledge of art and ancient civilizations, and regularly returns to Paris with the boys. She is gracious and elegant, one of the most interesting people I have ever known, and as pretty as the day I met her. We are lucky indeed to have her. I continue to be optimistic about the future, grateful for my wonderful family and the opportunities I have received- -and determined to make the most of the possibilities that still await on the horizon.
I like to think that Mr. Kneale and all of our teachers each had something unique and positive to contribute to our education. It was ultimately up to us to take the lessons and experiences they shared, to internalize and adapt them, and put them to good use. In retrospect, however, I have come to better appreciate the efforts of those faculty members who led by example- - and whose character, wisdom, and integrity transcended their curriculum, and served as a model to teach us how to think for ourselves and to better realize our true potential in life.
I had a great time, learned a lot, and made a lot of friends. I am particularly grateful to Mr. Kneale, and to those faculty members who encouraged me and displayed confidence in my abilities. I left RHS not precisely knowing where I was going, or how I would get there, but with an absolute certainty that I could, and would, figure something out. To be honest, not much has changed since!

There have been alot of drastic changes in my life in the last 10 years. I decided to quit the executive rat race life and pursue a career as a firefighter/paramedic. So once again, back to school I went. Fire school first then paramedic school. After working on a fire department I decided I would rather work in an ER as being a firefighter really takes a tole on your body, especially at the age of 40. So I now have a great job working as a paramedic splitting my time between ER and the cardiac care unit of a Cleveland hospital. It was a drastic change and of course I make ALOT less money than I used to, but being a paramedic is very fulfilling and rewarding. There's no better feeling than knowing at the end of your day that you did something worthwhile and you made a diffence in someone's life that day.
I'd have to say it was Mr. Morgan, Director of the band. That man had alot of patience!!!!! He taught us how to be a team, how to work together as a group and depend on each other. I think alot of close friendships developed in the band, we were like a "family". He taught us that hard work and goals do pay off in the long run. And he was a good sport about the Friday night toilet paperings of his house. My partner's in crime, you know who you are!!!!!

We still have kids at home, and are trying to keep pace with their schedules. Our youngest is still in high school and very busy with NJROTC. He recently went to Pensacola, Fla. for Nationals, and then turned around and went to a Nationals invitational in Daytona. We recently made a quick trip home for a 50th wedding anniversary for my parents, Fred and Dorothy Jacobs. (My dad had the Jacobs Wallpaper store on Water Street.) The trip went waaay to fast, and we didn't get to see anyone outside of family. My busband Ken has been trying to find another job for better pay (aren't we all??) and I've returned to massage school for more hours and to gain some new skills. We are also planning a wedding for our daughter. This is something new and different! Just when you think you know what you're doing, someone throws you a twist! Our oldest son is a photographer in the Navy, currently serving aboard the USS George Washington (aircraft carrier) somewhere "over there". One of the biggest changes for the new Navy is that they get e-mail, so they get to keep up with "real" time. When Ken was in the Navy, we had to wait an eternity for those all-too-precious letters. Our son is soooo spoiled!! We're looking forward to being first-time grandparents. We will jump over the part with diapers and go straight to school age, but that's fine with us!
I think Mr. Morgan had the most influence on me. I remember how much patience he had with us kids in the band, and not only was he putting up with our moods, attitudes, and craziness, but he had to deal with parents wanting to live through their childrens' lives, so he had to answer to irate parents when their kids didn't get a promotion (to first chair) or a particular grade. With all this going on, he still had the energy to teach us our routines and make it fun. The biggest lesson I learned was that even if you didn't get what you wanted, it wasn't the end of the world and there was a "bigger picture". And not getting what you want sometimes brings you more than you could hope for.
The Band memories will always be near and dear to me...learning the routines, performing, riding the busses to the away games, and of course, Band Camp--especially the summer everyone "got" me for my birthday. "One time.....at Band Camp.........." And in response to Donna,.....yes, I remember TP-ing Mr. Morgan's house. It was the most adventurous night of my high school career!

I have three teenage boys, so I shop for groceries and cook alot! I teach at a Lutheran school in Brunswick. My family keeps me busy, but I love my boys. Having them around makes life exciting!
Mr. Johnson, who taught geometry. He really seemed to care about the students. Also, Mr. Hull who taught english-he was so fun! And Mr. Neal was the greatest principal ever.
Marching band and master choir were the things I enjoyed the most. I loved sitting by Greg Lockridge. He called me the Singer Sewing Machine Pin-Up girl after I had facial surgery (from injuries I got in a car accident). Being in the chorus of "Carousel" was fun, too. And my senior acting class with Mr. Roberts was really enjoyable.

I took a year off from teaching so I could spend some time with my teenage and adult kids and travel. Our daughter lives in New York so I spend a lot of time visiting her. All of our boys live close to home. However, our youngest, Timmy will be satring at Kent Sate in the Fall. He will be playing football, so we plan several trips to Kent! My husband and I just returned from our 25th wedding anniversary in Aruba and look forward to the next 25 years. I'll return to teaching in August.
Mr. Roberts. I enjoyed Drama so much. It really changed who I was in high school. After many years of working in sales and doing community theater at night, I finally decided to teach. I love it and think of those days in drama at Roosevelt daily. I see much of all of us in thier eyes.
I still love being a techie! Those times were great!

HELLO ALL..... MY DAUGHTER AND I HAVE BEEN WORKING, AS A TEAM, TO GET HER IN THE ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS. SHE BEAT OUT 10,000 PEOPLE IN THE "AMERICAN IDOL" AUDITION AND THE BRITISH EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS ASKED THAT SHE TRY OUT AGAIN NEXT SEASON. SHE WAS MISS PRIDE OF FAYETTE COUNTY 2003 - QUEEN OF OUR COUNTY. SHE IS MODELING FOR RICH'S - MACY'S AND SAM'S CLUB AND WILL BE GOING TO NEW YORK CITY IN JULY 2004, FOR 4 DAYS, MODELING FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY. WE WILL BE GOING TO A HUGE TALENT CONVENTION,IN ORLANDO, THE WEEK OF JULY 4TH AND THE REASON I WILL BE MISSING MY FIRST REUNION THIS YEAR. I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH WW11 AIRPLANES FOR 15 YEARS - I FLY IN AIRSHOWS, DO AEROBATICS WITH THEM AND DO LOTS OF FUNDRAISERS TO "KEEP THEM FLYING." MY FRIENDS HAVE BOMBS AND GUNS ON THEIR AIRPLANES AND ARE A MOTLEY CREW..... I HAVE A VERY FULL LIFE AND GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH THIS MOST INCREDIBLE DAUGHTER. I HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU AND I HOPE MY OLD FRIENDS STAY IN TOUCH. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME. DIANE BYTTNER GEORGE
THERE ARE SEVERAL. BELIEVE IT OR NOT I LOVED MY ELEMENTARY PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER - MR.LEROY PEOPLES. BACK IN THE 60'S, GIRLS WEREN'T ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS LIKE THEY ARE TODAY - HARDLY ANY SCHOLARSHIPS, ETC. - YET HE ALWAYS ENCOURAGED ME AND ALL THE SPORTS THAT I WAS INVOLVED WITH AT THE TIME. LATER, I ENDED UP CHEERLEADING AND IN RIDERETTES BECAUSE I LOVED SPORTS AND, THEN, DATED SEVERAL PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES, BECAUSE SPORTS WERE SO IMPORTANT TO ME AND I WAS ALWAYS AROUND IT. IT IS JUST A SHAME I DIDN'T LEARN THE GAME OF GOLF AT THE AGE OF 12. OR GET MY MASTERS IN SPORTS ADMINISTRATION. BUT, WITH MY DAUGHTER GOING INTO PROFESSIONAL MODELING, SINGING AND ACTING - AND I BEING HER MANAGER - IT'S ALL THE ENTERTAINMENT BUNSINESS (SPORTS INCLUDED) AND I AM ENJOYING THE RIDE WE ARE ON - 30 YEARS LATER....
TEE-PEEING WITH ROBIN CARPENTER AND PATTY MORIN. WE WERE OUT IN TWIN LAKES AND DOING A VERY THOROUGH JOB - INCLUDING THE INSIDE OF HIS CAR. I FORGET THE GUY'S NAME - CLASS OF 73 - ALL OF A SUDDEN, THE UPSTAIR WINDOW WENT UP AND HIS MOTHER HAD A GUN AND SAID SHE WAS GOING TO SHOOT. WE NEVER RAN SO FAST AND WERE SCARED TO DEATH. ROBIN, PATTY AND I HAD SO MUCH FUN TOGETHER. JULIE MANDALARI AND I HAD MANY GREAT TIMES, AS WELL, AND WERE VERY CLOSE FOR A LONG TIME - EVEN THROUGH COLLEGE. I WAS ALSO VERY CLOSE TO HER PARENTS, WHO WERE MY SECOND PARENTS. I AM A BETEER PERSON FOR KNOWING THEM... IT WAS A SIMPLER TIME AND JUST SMALL TOWN GOOD CLEAN FUN.... IT IS SO SAD FOR OUR CHILDREN THAT EVEYTHING HAS GOTTEN SO COMPLICATED... WE ARE LUCKY WE GOT TO EXPERIENCE IT.

I stopped teaching and directing a preschool program after 13 years, and now I work 6 hours per day throughout the school year as an Elementary School Librarian. This is my third year, and I love it - my 4 years at the Kent Free Library really paid off! My famiy keeps me busy - Jon just finished his freshman year of college at Central Washington University, Emily just graduated (4th in her class of 450!) from high school 2 weeks ago and is headed to Sarah Lawrence College in NY this August, Katie will be a senior in high school this fall, Eric will be in 8th grade this fall. Husband Gary is Finance Manager at Titus Will Ford/Toyota dealership. Eric just finished the Little League season, and is now on a tournament team that will play around the state until mid-July. I've been attending alot of baseball games lately! I sing every weekend at my church and direct the Youth Choir there. I was in two musicals this past year, "Sweeney Todd" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". I scrapbook whenever I can fit it in, always am reading, love to cook, garden and decorate my home. I have a wonderful assortment of friends, and love to spend time with them. My husband Gary and I went on an Alaska cruise last August with my dad and brother. It was fantastic! I'm going to a reunion of one of my Up With People casts in New Jersey the last weekend of June, then on to New York City for 4 days with friends, and then will head to Kent, Ohio for 5 days with my family...unfortunately, I will miss the reunion - I just couldn't stay away from home another 5 days!
I really enjoyed Mr. Roberts and the drama classes, plays and clubs. I also loved Mr. Hornyak & learning Spanish (which I still use to this day - lots of the kids at my school speak Spanish). Loved all the Home Ec classes I took and learned many skills that I use nowadays as well - sewing, needlework, cooking.

Decided to finally persue a career in cosmotology after all these years. Pretty well spend most of my time in that pursuit. My kids are both still in Ohio, so we spend a lot of time going back and forth. Won't be done with school until January 2005. Hope to get a normal life back then.

I work full time for a local hospice. I see terminally ill patients in their homes. I make sure their pain and emotional problems are well managed and that they are as comfortable as possible. I LOVE my job. There is no greater privilege than to walk with friends to the gates of heaven. I walk my dogs frequently. Dexter is a terrier. The only really happy terrier is a busy terrier.I bought a contraption which allows me to "hook him up" to the side of my bike and he runs with me.He loves it! My big dog is a "Labradobiehound" and she's lazy! My folks live here and my Dad has Parkinson's now.I spend a great deal of time with them. My sister, Ann, also lives here with her 3 boys and I enjoy taking my nephews to do stuff. We go to Branson and mess around, Silver Dollar City, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede etc. My life is full except that I would one day like to meet "Mr. Right". I've been single now for 30 yrs! It's not that I haven't been looking. He's not in church, or the library or the grocery store or the internet........
Mrs. Biggers was my biggest influence in high school. She had a heart as big as all outdoors. She always had time to listen and helped me to feel comfortable when I never really did in those high school years!
Perkins Pancake house with Bev Scott and group.CYF with Becky Roberts and group.Kent State with Terri Wright. Y'all remember?
